Introducing Ms Tigerize.....
Tiger on the prowl....
Born in England June 1981, Tiffany (aka) Tigerize had a spark for music at a very young age. She was in school choirs from aged 7 until about 12 & throughout those years, in various schools, and in numerous school plays & performances… Infact Tigerize and DarkChyld Bandoo go as far back as 6 years old, so it was enevitable that their futures would eventually colide again.
From the age of 12 Tiger joined the Canterbury Girls Choir and participated in musical gala’s as far off as Utrecht, Holland – (big tings at that time!)
Then in 1988 was performing at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, in London with Young Stars.
Finally she joined with a couple of guitarist in 2003 to form a small band called One O Many in which they did a bit of gigging for school performances mainly, and mostly performed covers from artists like Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Skunk Anansie, Mariah Carey, Nina Simone, Norah Jones and many more but we also threw a couple of originals into the mix which went down alright. While with this band they had a song on BBC Radio Northampton in 2005 in aid of ‘Make Poverty History’ week. The song was entitled Educate Every Man and it was well received at the time… unfortunately time took them in different directions. From there Tigerize taught vocal coaching in a couple schools, including a three week summer school that resulted in a performance at the Willows Theatre, Corby. She also ran a talent school for kids for 18 months (along with another talented individual) while working at Weavers School, Wellingborough.

The EYE of the Tiger.....
"I’ve been writing my own lyrics and melodies since about the age of 12 and I’ve co-written songs with my mum over the years but it’s not until recently that I’ve never had my lyrics out for the world to see so it’s a real ‘soul-baring’ experience for me!!"
Tiger's influences are quite varied and same with her experience too, although not vast, is quite various and has developed a sound which is a mix of soul and jazz with a classical hint to it… but you might think differently! "I’m always trying to develop my sound & explore my vocal dexterity by training myself against both contemporary and good old ‘back in the day’ artists with amazing talent." Says Tiger, "Generally I aim to write lyrics that provoke thought, inspire hope & instil strength in the listener, and I’m very often writing to take my friends on the journey of a story of experience or of reflective supposition…" Naturally Tiger likes to deliver music with a message, and believe the messages are cleaar. Tiger has been musically influence by artist such as, Missy Elliott, Mike Oldfiled, Alanis Morissette, Sven Vath, Speedy J, Imogen Heap, Bob Marley, Lauren Hill, Bjork, India Irie, Jeff Wayne’s - War Of The Worlds Hillsong – His Glory Appears, The Source ft Candi Statton, Pachelbel’s Canon & many more great artists.
Recently Tiger has been working with Danja M© at Synoptic Recordings, and is also now working with DarkChyld Bandoo and Jah'licious Productions to further her music career, if your ready to purrrrr then watch closely for this Cat.....many things are on the plate with Tigerize, and if you blink you just might miss something incredible....
